Cameroon’s Energy minister, Basile Antangana, signed with several French industrials a protocol about funding, construction and management of up to 300 MegaWatts solar power almost everywhere in the country.

First solar power will be in Adamoua region in few months, and it’ll allow to bring electricity in 100’000 homes.

Solar power attract also medium and small companies, as well as private Cameroonians investors, thanks to individuals’ infrastructures generating alternative energy.

Now, what Afrikanet is bringing to this project ?

Indeed, we can mount these kits for a lower cost, with our well trained experts from United-Kingdom. These kits could produce between 1000 and 6000 watts!
You may know 6000 watts represents a household consumption or a small company where you can plug some devices at the same time ( 5 laptop or PC, 2 freezers and also 10 LED bulbs)

Le ministre camerounais de l’Energie, Basile Antangana, a signé en compagnie d’industriels français un protocole visant le financement, la construction et la gestion de centrales solaires un peu partout dans le pays, pour un total de 300 MegaWatt.

La première de ces centrales solaires verra le jour dans l’Adamoua courant 2016 et permettra  de fournir une électricité propre et efficace à 100’000 foyers camerounais.

La mise à disposition d’infrastructures individuelles générant de l’énergie solaire alternative crée également un vif intérêt auprès des petites et moyennes entreprises, ainsi que par d’autres promoteurs du secteur privé au Cameroun.

Mais quel est le rôle d’Afrikanet dans ces enjeux énergétique ?

Une grande partie de la population n’aura pas accès à cette électricité propre et renouvelable proposé par le gouvernement, car les centrales ne pourront fournir de l’électricité à tout le monde ou tout simplement les personnes se situent dans des zones éloignées des villes ou isolées.

Afrikanet propose donc une solution à ce problème, en permettant l’installation de panneaux solaires, par nos experts formées au Royaume –Uni,  produisant de 1000 à 6000 watts en 24 heures, et cela dès  le mois de Mars.
