Afrikanet GoSat Cameroun et Konnect Africa ont annoncé ce 26 juillet 2017 la mise en oeuvre de leur partenariat pour innover ensemble et offrir un accès à l’Internet haut débit par satellite, intitulé GoSat. D’après leur communiqué commun, l’alliance entre la technologie satellitaire de pointe proposée par Konnect Africa et l’expertise d’Afrikanet GoSat en tant que fournisseur reconnu pour la qualité de son service client va permettre le déploiement d’une connexion Internet en zones urbaines et rurales, mais aussi  dans les localités les plus reculées du Cameroun.

Le service satellitaire de Konnect Africa couvrira à court terme deux tiers de la population camerounaise et sera accessible avec un internet haut débit « à un prix abordable », indique GoSat.

D’après Casimir Fotso Chatue, le PDG d’Afrikanet GoSat, : « Collaborer avec Konnect Africa nous permet d’accéder pour le bénéfice de nos clients, à une plateforme de très haut débit à travers le monde et du continent Africain en particulier. Nos clients ont besoin de qualité, de fiabilité, de vitesse de connexion, mais aussi d’une couverture à prix abordable et surtout universelle. Konnect Africa est donc un partenaire solide, capable de nous proposer des offres de haut débit par satellite de qualité, sur mesure et pour tous les clients et entreprises que nous aurons à servir au Cameroun dans les zones semi-urbaines et rurales. »
