On the 23rd of January 2018, in Yabassi, the team GoSat has installed internet connection to our new customer, the company “COMPLEX LA PAIX PLUS’ SARL.”
Yabassi is a town in the Western Department of Cameroon and is situated 100 km from Douala, the economic capital of the country. Its economy is mostly based on rural agriculture and the second most important trade in the town is small companies.
According to the cluster manager of the West, Mr Casimir Ledoux Guifo: “the company solicited our services because they know GoSat can reach this area. More so, given that the world is gradually becoming a global village, they saw the need to upgrade their company by subscribing to a broadband internet which is found nowhere else but in GoSat.”
“The client has subscribed to our 50 GB package and for a period of six months.” He added.
Unfortunately, the city is difficult to reach because of the lack of paved roads.
The installation lasted three days, which is more than expected. Mr Hermann Talla the engineer in charge of the installation explained, in an interview, the reason of this delay “one of the difficulties encountered on the site is the nature of the roads and also, the site is found in the interior of the town, so we had some difficulties getting signals. Nevertheless, the installation was completed and the clients are happy with our services.”
“Besides, that’s why we’re here, ready to go an extra mile just to satisfy our clients.” He noted.
